On this holy month of Ramadan, its good to do good (more pahala). Thus when me, my lil and her friend were walking down the street of london, we were approached by this 3 old ladies, asking for donation for disable kids.
Since its Ramadan, and for the kids, I handed out all my small change and gave it to them....
Now this is the interesting part... they ASKED us to give donations 5 pounds each...
and I was like, whattt?? Donations is where you gave seangkat-angkat hati, aka as much as you are willing to donate. And they were like haggling us to give more...
Three of us look at each other, pondering upon this predicament, as they are surely NOT pure in asking donations. Like whoever ask for a minimum amount of donations??? At 5 pounds each, nevertheless...
With a heavy heart, my lil sis just gave 10 pounds as a donation from three of us (PLUS the coins of a few pounds and nickels that I gave earlier) and my lil sis just said "halal kan saja tia"
But this has changed my prespective of people asking for donations in london. I will now just walk on, ignoring them, and will only give when I see the collection box in sight, as I can just only drop in the coins.
Seriously, donations with a minimum amount??? The only thing good thing is that they gave us the above flowers...

Yes, if that money was for the children aku halal kan lah, cos it's for a good cause...

nevertheless, only donate to the ppl yg actually have those donation boxes thingy yang ada official logo, if they don't even have proof that they come from the charity whatsoever just ignore them.
if they won't go away from u tell them to, or threathen them by calling the police for public harrassment

Masa the 2nd day of ramadhan, aku donated $5 for the islamic community (that was out of the blues) and no minimum amount requirement to donate.

Kalau ia pun ada minimum donation amount simpan lah label XD

oh yes gypsies. They're everywhere! I got into 2 arguments with gypsies, once near Harrods and once in Granada. The one in Granada was funny though cos we were swearing at each other in different languages. I would rather buy 10 copies of the Big Issue from one of those guys than 'donate' 10 pounds to those gypsies!
